Remote Control and Connection
Some service jobs require ComputerWorks support staff to remote connect to your computer. When this is needed your support specialist will provide you a 9 digit code for that individual support session. Please click the link below called “Windows Remote Control Software” and save the file to a convienent location on your computer or hit run now if that option is available. Put your name in the name field and the support key provided to you by our specialist in the support key field.
If you did not expect a phone call from us please verify who you are speaking to. You can call our office number and ask for this person or call them direct through our automated phone system from the support number at 604.552.4008. If any one asks you to call a different number please hang up and report this to us at 604.552.4008. ComputerWorks specialists are always reachable at our company number. Any other number could be a fake.
Other Support Options
If the call goes to our support mailbox during business hours it will be checked when the next tech is available. Leaving a message is faster then calling again. The more information about the problem left in the message can be helpful so it gets directed to the right specialist. Our regular response time is 2 hours. After hours will be the next business day. Mailbox is not checked after 5 PM or before 8am and on Weekends or Holidays.

Emails are checked through out the day, this will generate a support ticket. Our regular response time to acknowledge a support ticket is 2 hours. If the issue is urgent please call it in.
After Hours and Emergency Support:
After hours support and emergency priority support incur extra charges. If you have a critical support need outside of business hours or if you need immediate help on an issue during business hours please call our regular number and use extension 888. You will hear a message about the extra charge and then be prompted to leave a message. Leaving a message is acceptance of the extra charges and the emergency response technician will respond with in 20 minutes. Please make sure you leave a call back number for them.
